This post is to document a method I use to attach clear resin parts such as windshields and side windows without using glue. This method helps prevent fogging of the clear pieces sometimes when using CA glue, and to prevent getting glue on exposed parts of the clear part.

On a model building forum, someone had brought up the use of clear LCD screen adhesive tape that is used for attaching phone and tablet screens. A search of Amazon brought up the item in different widths, so I ordered a 1mm and a 2mm rolls of the tape. It was a little tricky at first getting strips of the tape from its backing due to how thin the tape is. But once I figured that out, it was then just a matter of placing the tape in the body's frame opening, and placing the clear part in place and applying just enough pressure to get the part and the tape to contact each other, and hold the part in place. Once nice thing is if you need to adjust the part, you don't have any glue residue you have to deal with.

Another fantastic technique, John! Using LCD screen adhesive tape instead of CA glue is such a clever solution — no fogging, no residue, and the bonus of being able to reposition if needed is huge. The fact that you tried 1mm and 2mm widths to find what works best shows real attention to detail.
